My new vaccuum cleaner

So since I love my new Vaccuum Cleaner so much - I thought I would write a blog about it. So as you probably already read,my vaccuum cleaner had a piece that was broken in it. I called my father in law to find out where he got it from and they said Target. I called target today to ask them if I could just bring the bag of pieces back and exchange it out of a different box, that way I didn't have to re-box the entire vaccuum cleaner. They asked if I had my gift reciept or recpiet and I told them no. They then proceeded to tell me that for any item over $35, they do not allow a refund, gift card, or exchange. WHAT???? They then tell me that if it's under $35 they can exchange it for me. Well there is no way this is under $35. I politely ask to speak to the manager, she proceedes to tell me the same darn thing! I ask her what am I supposed to do since I don't have the reciept, she tells me that she can look it up by the credit card that was used to purchase it. I told her I would call and get the number and call her back, she explained that she actually needed the card in her hand. I told her that the person we got the gift from lived out of town - and she said, "well that's why encourage people to get a gift reciept" OMG! I want to ring her neck. I then politely told her that Target's exchange policy sucked and ended the call.
When I got home from work, I got on Bissells website and found out that Lowes carried the same vaccuum cleaner. I called them and asked if I could exchange it, and that I didn't have my reciept. They told me that was fine. I boxed it up and exchanged it!
I had the pleasure of putting it together tonight - all by myself and tested it out on my dining room floor. WOW! I can't believe how well this works - I can't wait to clean the rest of my house and use my new, powerful, wonderful vaccuum cleaner. I have attached a pic of the finished product

Christmas

So Christmas turned out to be a really great day for Jeremy and I. I woke us up early, as I always to, because I was anxious to open presents. I separated our presents into 4 piles - mine, his, ours and the pets. We let the puppies in and opened their presents first. They were very happy to get dog bones and treat and the cats got treats and toys.

Jeremy and I then proceeded to open our presents. We took turns, as usual. We both ended up getting stuff we wanted. I got (all from Jeremy) a jewelry box, a new camera, a new LAPTOP, some accessories for the computer, and a camera case. Jeremy wrapped my laptop in a huge box, so I was teasing him about getting me a vaccuum cleaner - he just smiled and said "how did you guess" so much to my surpise, when I opened the HUGE box, it was a laptop instead. My sister got me the twilight series of books and my Father in law got us a vaccuum cleaner, a game for the wii and gift cards. Jeremy ended up getting a motorcycle helmet, some accessories, 2 card games, a new game for the PS3, a christmas ornament and some leather gloves.

After opening presents, I made breakfast while Jeremy enjoyed his new game. After we ate breakfast, Jeremy continued to play his game, while I worked on playing with my new "toys" The first thing I did was try to put the vaccuum cleaner together, I got all the pieces out of the box and realized that there was a broked piece in there. So much for doing that, I put that to the side and started charging my camera. While my camera was charging, I set up my laptop. When my camera battery was done charging, I decided to take pics of my family being lazy on Christmas!

So after relaxing, Jeremy and I went to see Twilight at the movie theater. We had made that our tradition for the past 4 years, and it's something we enjoy doing. After the movie, we came home and made dinner. My grandma got us a box of meat from Omaha Steaks. We had the tenderloin steak for dinner and it was AWESOME! After dinner, I started reading twilight. Jeremy liked the movie and enjoys me reading to him, that he asked me to read the book to him! I'm hoping to finish the series before school starts again in January.
That's about it for our Christmas Day adventures.
